Firstly, let me start by saying I
hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Years!
Now, if you’re anything like me
the January blues will be in full swing. The dark nights seem to last forever,
it’s so cold that you sometimes forget you have fingers and toes and now that
Christmas & New Year’s are over you haven’t got anything to look forward to
which could distract you from the dark & cold weather! That said, we

Over the course of the year I
think I would be safe in saying you have probably started to build a fairly
sizable pile of paperwork that has come in over the year which you have set
aside to “look at later”. If you’re a home owner there’s a good chance one of
the documents will be mortgage statement. If you’re saving into a pension, be
it with one work or one you have set up personally, I’m certain you’ll have an
annual statement in that ever growing paperwork mountain. Any savings accounts
or investments you may have, be them with a bank or an alternative provider,
they’re going to be in there to.
So now you’ve dug out all the
paperwork the next task is attempting to make sense of all the information –
